The majority of styli are no longer available as original equipment unless stated 'Original'. The replacement styli on this site are precision manufactured in Switzerland to high quality standards that ensure performance closely matches original as detailed. Please note that Shure cartridges were often fitted as a user option to many higher quality turntables. Please check the cartridge for detail of type designation to check for the stylus type and compare images for match before ordering. Stylus colours described are original and these may vary on supply. The tracking weight ranges given are taken from Shure discontinued stylus cross reference data and we would recommend that you check the adjustment of the tracking weight on fitment if your turntable tonearm has such provision to achieve best performance or use tracking force gauge -
Shure SFG-2 Stylus Tracking Force Gauge. Also if anti-skate setting adjustment is available this can set to the same force as tracking weight.
Please note Shure ceased with production and manufacture of all HiFi and Professional DJ cartridges and styli in May 2018 and new original Shure stylus replacements are now no longer available.
